On February 4, 1993, the Society voted to give an annual scholarship to a local graduating senior displaying artistic talent toward pursuing further artistic study. The first scholarship awarded in May 1993 for $100. Now, 3 decades later, our award is at $1000.
The scholarship application is open to students who are continuing their education, either as a major or minor, in the visual or performing arts fields, and are graduating from the following area schools:

Our Scholarship committee sends out request for recommendations in March and nominations must be submitted by May 1st.

Previous winners and former applicants are also eligible to apply with a former high school or college teacher’s nomination and materials.
