Barbara Chase

A Maine artist who paints on canvas and wooden panels, Barbara Chase uses traditional tube paints, fluid acrylics, glazes, water-soluble crayons and pencils. Her focus is on a number of subjects and she enjoys creating animals, Maine landscapes, and still life paintings.

Ann Rhinehardt

Working in both Encaustic and Cold Wax media, Ann paints both loose and more purely abstracted landscapes with a very organic and textural quality that invites viewers to peer through the many layers of color.

Patricia Binette

Pat Binette is one of the founders of WAAS. She is a life long educator who teaches art classes in the Waterville area. Her pastels reflect a spiritual connection to nature.

Alexis Burbank

Alexis Burbank is most well known for her unique leather masks that she ships all over the world through her online business, Faylander Studios. She also creates unique pen and ink illustrations inspired by the flora and fauna of Maine.

Gale Davison

Gale has been exhibiting fine art nature photographs since 1989 in local art shows using local production partners. She began printing her fine art images as cards on her own archival ink printer in 2016.

Susan Newkirk-Sanborn

Susan Newkirk-Sanborn is a water color artist. She is currently working on an illustrated alphabet book.

Sheila is a self-taught artist with a love of nature. She paints portraits, still-life, landscapes, animals, and fairies.

Rose Crossman of Rosie's Artistry is a self taught pastel artist. Her love for animals and creating memories is shown through her beutifuly detailed children and pet portraits!

Brian Vigue

Brian Vigue ("Vigistry") has been painting and illustrating fantasy and pin-up art since 1992; programming computer applications and games since 1986; and writing since 1995. Brian's work has appeared on various fantasy novel covers and in Heavy Metal Magazine.

AK Cyrway

Ames is a science-fiction illustrator, focusing on mechanical design and study. They focus on pen and ink with markers as well as digital illustration.
